Last week when I was writing my post about the Our State Photo Contest winners I went to their store to see if they sold back issues of the magazine…They don’t. While I was there I stumbled across their clearance items. There were two items that caught my eye one was a Grandfather Mountain Christmas Ornament from 2007…I found out today it was sold out. The other though was a book…A big, beautiful, coffee table sized picture book of photo’s from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Photographed by George Humphries and edited by Mary Best, this is a gorgeous book. What made it an unbeatable deal though was the price…At $10.00 on the publisher’s site, even with a $5.00 shipping cost. It beats the prices at Amazon.
