The High Country Press is reporting the following.

The Blue Ridge Conservancy and National Committee for the New River recently announced achievements in land conservation. The N.C. Clean Water Management Trust Fund provided funding for two local projects.

The Orchard will be open ONLY on the weekends Saturday, May 7 through Sunday, May 29; Sat 10-6; Sun 12-6.

Regular hours begin Memorial Day until early September. Mon, Wed-Sat 10-6 and Sun 12-6.

The Lunch Wagon opens Saturdays and Sundays, 11:30-4:30, beginning June 4.
